can see 2-3 cloves of garlic are kept in
the houses or rooms to prevent

spring seasons. It has antimicrobial
and antifungal effects. It can be used
as a disinfectant due to bacteriostatic
and bactericidal properties.
In Asia garlic is used mostly as a
remedy to cure digestive problems.
Meteorism due to indigestion and the
nausea is treated with boiled or
roasted garlic.
Garlic is high in vitamin C and
prevents scurvy. It increases the
thiamine absorption and thereby
prevents beriberi in children.
Researchers have shown that garlic
increases the testosterone level in
men.
In HIV patients garlic is used to treat
crystosporidium, toxoplasmosis and
other protozoal diseases.
