Prevention HIV can be spread by having unprotected sex (vaginal, oral and anal sex). It can also be caught from sharing sex toys with someone infected with HIV. Therefore all should think to have protected sex. Intravenous drug use is an important factor in HIV transmission. Sharing needles can transmit HIV into the body. At all times, health care workers should use special barriers, (gloves, masks, protective eyewear, shields, and gowns). Anti-HIV medicines are effective to prevent HIV transmission from mother to baby. Delivery through caesarean section can be done to reduce the risk of getting HIV. Bottle-feeding is recommended instead of breast-feeding; if the mother is infected with HIV Health education is very important to reduce HIV. Therefore with proper education only we will be able to reduce HIV. That should be begun from the basic unit of the society; FAMILY. If we can start it from our own families, this massive problem could be solved. It is not an easy task. But we must do it for a better world for all of us!!!
