ALCOHOLISM - Alcoholism is a chronic disease. It can be identified when the signs of physical addiction to alcohol is present. And also can be checked, when a person continues drinking alcohol, due to various problems with physical health, mental health, and social health, family, and job responsibilities. There is no known cause of alcoholism. But some research suggests that particular genes may rise the risk of alcoholism. Mostly, the cause is connected with mental health. Depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, stressful lifestyle are some causes which are related to mental health. If a man takes 15 or more drinks a week, if a woman takes 12 or more drinks a week, and if anyone take five or more drinks per day within a week, he/she has a chance of developing alcoholism. One drink is defined as a 12-ounce bottle of beer, a 5-ounce glass of wine, or a 1 1/2-ounce shot of liquor. People who have alcoholism usually have these kinds of symptoms: * Want to drink, even though he/she has no any problem. * Become rude when drinking.
