A BABY PINK FLAMINGO HATCHES IN MONACO ’ S ANIMAL GARDEN FOR THE FIRST TIME

For the first time in history , a baby pink flamingo was born in Monaco ’ s Animal Garden . The little bundle of joy hatched in June and is adapting nicely to life on the Rock . Flamingos are very social animals and generally reproduce when they are in large colonies , and generally after the age of six . The park ’ s group of flamingos was made up of twelve individuals aged three to six , so reproduction was not expected . But at the end of April , the group began to show signs of courtship and started making nest outlines .

Зоологическом саду Монако впервые появился птенец розового фламинго . Малыш вылупился в июне и сейчас прекрасно адаптируется к жизни на Скале . Фламинго очень социальные птицы , живут большими колониями и обычно размножаются после шестилетнего возраста . Колония фламинго в зоопарке Монако состояла из двенадцати особей в возрасте от трех до шести лет , поэтому размножения не ожидалось , однако в конце апреля птицы начали проявлять признаки ухаживания и делать наметки гнезда .

The 66th edition of the Rose Ball originally scheduled for March 19th , 2022 had been postponed due to health conditions , to Friday 8th July , 2022 in the Salle des Etoiles of Sporting Monte-Carlo . The Ball was held for the benefit of the Princess Grace Foundation . H . R . H . the Princess of Hanover , President of the Princess Grace Foundation , entrusted the artistic direction to her friend Christian Louboutin ; together they chose the theme “ The Twenties , the Return ”. Prince Albert II of Monaco , Princess Caroline of Hanover and her children illuminated this evening by their presence .
