MONACO ’ S FAIRY TALE CHRISTMAS BALL INSPIRES HOPE AND MAGIC
On the 12th of December , 2020 , the Principality ’ s annual Christmas Ball took place , an enchanting evening straight out of a fairy tale . The event , chaired by Princess Charlène , was held at the Salle Empire in the Hôtel de Paris . The glittering evening of hope and magic helped launch Monaco ’ s holiday season after an especially difficult year . An auction for the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation by Sotheby ’ s was one of the evening ’ s highlights , with 40,000 euros profits going to the ‘ Learn to swim ’ and ‘ Water safety ’ drowning prevention programs . Princess Charlène ’ s brother , Gareth Wittstock , who is the General Secretary of the Foundation , attended the fairy tale themed ball . Sandrine Garbagnati-Knoell , founder of the event , was also in attendance along with presenter Victoria Silvstedt and the star-studded ‘ International Action Committee ’.

NEW LAW : GAMBLERS CANNOT ESCAPE CASINO DEBTS IN MONACO
The National Council unanimously voted on a bill that will allow SBM to collect debts from its customers . The purpose of Bill 1019 is to put an end to the legal exception of gambling debts with regard to casinos . The new bill will allow the Société des Bains de Mer to obtain both the repayment of faulty checks and any advances made by the group .
CLUB VIVANOVA & THE FAIRMONT SUCCEED AGAINST ALL ODDS
Club Vivanova held a successful Gala at the Fairmont Hotel with 180 attendees , raising over € 30,000 for the Chances for Children Foundation and The Animal Fund ( TAF ). HelloMonaco played a part in the event , not just as a media partner but also by donating one of the lots , which was auctioned at the Charity Gala . During the event , founder Bradley Mitton quoted Winston Churchill by saying , ‘ When you are going through hell , keep going ’, to inspire us all to keep doing good during the pandemic .
