Such a rich variety of entertainment happens almost uniquely in Monaco, the Principality being
an absolute leader on the Mediterranean coast. Its cultural and social life is always diverse
and was marked by several important happenings and news over the last few months which
HelloMonaco considers worth recalling. Here is a kaleidoscope of the most interesting and
noteworthy events that were held in the Principality.

AND DIMITRI RASSAM TIE THE KNOT

T
he wedding of Charlotte Casiraghi and
her husband Dimitri Rassam has been
called the Marriage of the Year —
and for good reason. They initially tied the
knot in a small discrete family gathering in
a civil ceremony. But there was also to be a
beautiful second wedding, kept virtually se-
cret, with the bride and her handsome beau
both in full wedding attire. After the trag-
ic death of their father, Stefano Casiraghi,
Princess Caroline had chosen for her three
elder children to reside in Saint-Rémy and
also be educated there. And so it was here
in this French commune of Saint-Rémy-de-
Provence that the pair held this secret second
religious service.
On Saturday, June 29th the Royal wedding
festivities continued and here came the bride
again to the Abbey Sainte-Marie de Pierre-
don just a few kilometres from Saint-Rémy
and only one month after marrying in the
prior civil ceremony.

трия Рассама называлась «свадьбой
года» и неспроста. После официаль-
ной свадебной церемонии 1 июня в Княже-
ском дворце Монако Шарлотта Казираги и
Дмитрий Рассам сказали друг другу «да»
во время венчания в Сен-Реми-де-Прованс
29 июня. Детали и дата венчания держались
в секрете, и Княжеский дворец подтвердил
состоявшуюся церемонию лишь после ее
завершения. Выбор места был неслучаен:
для невесты Прованс имеет большое зна-
чение, поскольку после трагической гибели
отца, Стефано Казираги, Шарлотта и ее бра-
тья провели значительную часть детства
именно в Сен-Реми.
