RJM appointed distributor for IMPULSE cleaning system
RJM International is now selling the highly successful IMPULSE Cleaning System in the UK , Europe , and Asia-Pacific . More than 290 IMPULSE Cleaning systems have now been successfully installed at power generation units across the USA . They are enabling these power plants to operate campaigns of longer duration , with higher efficiency rates , and with reduced downtime between outages , by significantly reducing the build-up of fused ash deposits . The IMPULSE boiler cleaning system is a development of the pulse detonation propulsion technology pioneered by GE at its Global Research Center . The cleaning technology is based around a supersonic shock wave that is created by the detonation of a mixture of fuel and air . IMPULSE cleaning technology delivers dramatic improvements in the online cleaning of boiler heat transfer surfaces , when compared to conventional cleaning systems . The pulse waves also work effectively as a non-line-of-site cleaning system , removing deposits without erosive damage to heat transfer surfaces or refractory , unlike conventional cleaning methods . The IMPULSE system is also self-contained and does not need to tap into expensive plant steam .
CAREL acquires Klingenburg GmbH and Klingenburg Group
CAREL Industries S . p . A . (“ CAREL ” or the “ Group ”) announces the acquisition of 100 % of the share capital of Klingenburg GmbH ( and its subsidiaries ) and Klingenburg International Sp . Z . o . o . (“ Klingenburg ” or the “ Klingenburg Group ”), producers of a wide range of products used mainly for heat recovery in ventilation and humidification systems , adiabatic cooling , and air purification . The transaction rationale is attributable , first , to the implementation of one of the main cornerstones of the Group ’ s strategy , calling for a growth path through M & A , also through products complementary in applications of reference . Furthermore , it aims at strengthening CAREL ’ s positioning in the industry of air handling units , joining the acquisitions of Recuperator S . p . A . and Enginia S . r . l ,
completed respectively in 2018 and 2021 , responding to the same logic . The effects of the transaction also reflect positively on Klingenburg , who will benefit from an improved competitive positioning and investment capability not achievable earlier , in addition to a particularly advanced technological knowhow . To this , the global footprint of the CAREL Group is added , as well as its extensive customer base , which will open new markets and new geographies with the creation of significant crossselling opportunities . In particular , the possibility of producing in the United States would allow for an easier North American market penetration for Klingenburg products , especially suited for local market needs .
