Pizza Party at Boys & Girls Club
About 85 students learn about ag and farmers who grow their food
Director of Agriculture Chris Chinn commemorated National Agriculture Month with an event at Boys and
Girls Club of the Capital City at East School in Jefferson City.
About 85 students from the Boys and Girls Club learned more about agriculture and the
farmers who grow and raise food during the event. Students heard from Director Chinn about her
farm and the impact agriculture has on our daily life. They also enjoyed a pizza party, courtesy

The Boys and Girls Club of the Capital City is an after school program
for youth in the community, primarily targeted toward youth from a low
income or disadvantaged environment. The mission is to enable all young
people, especially those who need the club most, to reach their full
potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
