22 HEARTBEAT | FALL 2017
FCS Financial's Internship is
Unique-Rewarding-Memorable.
Applications due November 3.
Working with several mentors, FCS Financial lending
interns learn the lending process from meeting the
customer and taking the application, through credit
analysis and decision, to appraisal and loan closing.
Plus, our interns work in multiple branch locations with
the local staff to experience first-hand the relationships
we build with our customers.
Appraisal interns learn the process of appraising real
and chattel properties from a state certified real estate
appraiser, experienced collateral valuators and chattel
valuators. Appraisers blend written communication
and technology skills with interpersonal skills and the
ability to work independently.
Risk management interns learn about the variety
of risk products offered by FCS Financial. They will
discover how we market, sell and service crop insurance,
livestock insurance and life insurance to complement
our loan products.
All interns will also complete one or more
projects that are hands-on in nature and designed to
add value to the intern experience. To further their
