If you've never experienced
kefir cheese (a Mediterranean
cultured cheese spread also known
as Labne), then do yourself a favor
and
try it today!
Not only is it delectably delicious, but if you
find real, true kefir cheese/labne, it should
only have 1-2 ingredients (cultured milk and
cream). But just because there are only
minimal ingredients (my favorite!) doesn't
mean it will taste like plain yogurt.
This sweet, creamy spread is a cross between
sweet cream cheese, sour cream, and tart
yogurt....and it's health benefits are another
great reason to put it on your shopping list.
Full of probiotic cultures, kefir cheese is a
superb substitute for an array of condiments
and pairs perfectly with purple grapes!
