As a Christ follower, wife, mother of three boys, and full-time internship coordinator at a high school in central Indiana, Kaletra leads a full and fast-paced life.

For years, she struggled with perfectionism and self-condemnation, stuck in a cycle of following strict health plans only to see her progress fade. She had tried everything—skipping meals, Weight Watchers, Whole30—but nothing felt sustainable. The missing piece? A way of living that she could maintain for life.

When Kaletra found Healthy Free Life, she realized that worship was meant to be the foundation of her health journey. Inviting God into the process helped her break free from the

for breakfast, and her whole household loves the Easy Eats recipes—so much so that they’ve even cooked some of them on their own! While she can’t control every meal they eat, she finds comfort in knowing at least one nourishing meal is part of their day.

To minimize overwhelm, Kaletra leaned into the support and structure provided by Healthy Free Life. Attending Orientation and following the Roadmap gave her a clear path forward. As a Gold Academy member, she also values the accountability group, which has been a source of encouragement and connection.

Kaletra’s story is a powerful reminder that health isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress, grace, and inviting God into the journey.

One of the biggest transformations she’s experienced is mindfulness— especially in how she weaves worship into her daily routine. She’s more intentional about her food choices (greens are now a staple in her meals!) and no longer lets the scale define her success. While she’s still working on improving sleep and rest, she’s making steady progress.
