Do you know how much sugar you should limit each day? Do you know the amount of sugar you consume in a day?'
Lesson 4 of the Glorious Food Revival will help you know the answers and take the next baby step on the Success Path for reducing sugar.
While the HFL Way is not an all or nothing approach, Lesson 4 suggests trying a Sugar Free Experiment, but not before you've taken the previous steps on the Success Path.
The Success Path will get you there gradually over time. And when it's time, consider taking the Sugar Free Experiment for a
pre-determined number of days (7, 10, 30, etc).
The further you can move away from consuming processed foods and added sugars, the faster you will meet your health goals.
As a side note, life is meant to be celebrated. So enjoy a slice of birthday cake, just don't keep or take home the leftovers. Then recommit to your sugar free journey.
Your choice to eat sugar should be just that-- a choice. That way, there is less temptation to be consumed with guilt and condemnation. For there is no condemnation for us in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
If you haven't gotten to Lesson 4 of the Revival yet, you will get to it in time.
If you have already completed Lesson 4, or have completed the Revival, consider going back to it and taking the next step on the Success Path. Always remember: progress, not perfection.
