I've learned how to take my health seriously and make it a priority. I do this by making no excuses. I live with family who doesn't eat the way I eat, so I've learned how to prepare food that I can eat, but also include something for them that they will eat but I can avoid.

And my daughter even ate and ejoyed some of the glorious turkey thighs I had prepared. Perhaps the gradual changes are making an impression on them as well.
My journey hasn't been perfect, but it's been powerful. I’ve learned that lasting change is possible. I’m grateful for the progress I've made, and I’m hopeful that my healthier habits will inspire my family as well.
