Now that you know the Move Success Path and have determined what step you will take this month, it is now time to apply the 4 Laws of Habit Change to create your move habit system for optimal success. These 4 Laws are explained in full detail in the video "The System for Habit Change" on the Learn About Habits page in the new Academy site. Go through each law below with move examples. I recommend printing off the worksheet on page 14. You will create your unique habit system by answering the questions on the worksheet.
1. CUE:
A cue is anything that gets your attention and signifies what to do next. As you might expect, cues that are more obvious are more likely to be acted upon.

Use Implementation intention: I will [BEHAVIOR] at [TIME] in [LOCATION].
Example: I will walk around the office for 2 minutes at the top of the hour while at work.
Prepare environment: Set a timer for every hour. Or use a "stand" app to remind me.
How to Make it Obvious Examples
And/Or use Habit Stacking: After [CURRENT HABIT], I will [NEW HABIT].
Example: After I eat lunch, I will go for a 10 minute walk outside.
Prepare environment: Store walking shoes and sunglasses by front door.
Other ENVIRONMENT examples: Buy a treadmill or exercise bike and put in living room.
