Rest-based living is the conscious and intentional pursuit of activities that rest, relax, recharge and recover the psychic energy (stress) that gets so used up in the fast paced, stressed out, modern lifestyle in a fallen world. These rest-based activities must become a priority of anyone who wants to reach their goals for their health and life. When we include restful activities into our daily life, they refill our tank and bring relief to our stressed out soul. We can then pour out of ourselves from a place of abundance instead of a place of lack.
