6. Do it for the right reasons
Whether you are trying to improve your health or your selfconfidence, it doesn’ t matter. As long as you are doing it for YOU. Don’ t let anyone else( apart from medical professionals) try and influence your decision – this is your body.
7. Make it fun
I hate running with an absolute burning passion. So I was never going to get fit that way because I would never do it. The stevie has some AMAZING classes such as Beats, Roar and Glide. All of the classes are taken by an instructor and really pack a punch.
8. Schedule it in
You schedule in your doctor’ s appointments and other non-negotiable commitments why not your work outs? A 2-hour gap in between your lectures could turn into your designated time to work up a sweat.
9. Walk it out
Counting your steps has become a real trend with Fitbits everywhere you look and step counters on your phones. Walking is a really easy way to get fit and the fresh air will wake you up as well. Try out one of the welfare committee’ s routes or compete with your friends to see you can do more steps in one week!
10. Bring it home
Gyms can be scary and sometimes it’ s a bit too much to shlep all the way there. A home workout can be super fun and there are loads to choose from on YouTube. Do it with your flatmates to make it a little bit more fun.
