Syphilis
Syphilis claimed the lives of many
notables, including Al Capone and
Theo Van Gogh. When penicillin
was discovered in 1943, the cases
of syphilis were knocked down
considerably. As sexual awareness
became prevalent, cases diminished
further. However, in the last ten
years there has been a resurgence
of syphilis, due largely to victims
not understanding that the disease
can be transmitted through oral sex,
and more cases of disease being
reported in general.

Most of these
diseases have come
back to us through
our own unhealthy
behaviors and views.
While many diseases reappear
because they shape-shift over time,
most have come back to us through
our own unhealthy behaviors and
views. Even the seemingly harmless
antibiotic, which does such good on
the one hand in getting rid of infections, causes diseases to morph and
our bodies to change and not be able
to handle them properly. Education is
the key, as ever.
ITS TIME, NOW!
