Many of my pupils spend most of their time sedentary lives, but there are also those who engage in
various sports and other forms of physical activity.
Some eat in the school canteen, some eat lunch late in the day after arrival home. At school they prefer fast
food and sweet food. They could eat more vegetables. They try to drink enough fluids and sleep 8 hours a day.
Many are stressed by the demanding preparation for school and fail to devote themselves to their health. A
small proportion of pupils smoke and drink alcohol.
Many of our students spend a lot of time with their mobile phones.
Digital technologies are becoming increasingly prominent among young people. However, pupils could use
them more for the benefit of their health, using various applications (eg pedometer, calorie counter, ...).

Our students are at school from 08,30 to 16,00-17,00 on weekdays and they have also some lesson
courses at the weekend.(Some of my students are boarding students anyway) So our students stay at school
longer than home.Of course, it effects their eating habits, lifestyle habits, eating and drinking and their body
posture in time.
My students who aren't boarding students generally eat at the canteen or cafes like hamburger, tost,
sandwich and drink beverage.They mostly eat unhealthy but at home in Turkey our parents are interested in
their children's health so much.So they eat home made food, fruit, vegetables.In the mornings they generally
eat breakfast with bread and jam, drin tea or milk regularly.
My students have a limited time to do sports or go to nature in a busy school life.But some of them are
really talented at sports. they can join some tournaments and get some medals. Some of my students have
problems with time management.They like going on internet so much.When they do it limitless,they may have
problems with completing homeworks, sleeping enough or doing sports. Few of them can send a whole day
without their cell phone.Of course, they can use their cell as a tool to reach their health and fitness tools or
practice jogging.
Because of the stressful school life, my students have the possibility of sleeping problems.They don't
drink alcohol and smoke.They don't have those kinds of bad habits for now.They mostly have the right body
posture except few overweight students.They also pay attention to their mouth health and brush their teeth
two or three times. Shortly, in our World, Students spend lots of time at school.It effects their food habits,
doing sports or their social activities.Students should use the time efficiently and try to lead a healthy life.
