Course Overview:
This course provides you with the necessary information for you to understand the duties and responsibilities
of the nominated ‘responsible person’ and their ‘deputy’.
The course covers the supervision, effective implementation and management of legionella risk assessments,
along with remedial work and management of water systems within their buildings to comply with approved
code of practise L8.
This course also looks at areas such as water sampling and necessary actions, competency of staff and
contractors, water systems disinfection requirements and management of Log Book records.
It is designed for the nominated ‘Responsible Person’ or ‘Deputy to Responsible Person’ for control of the
legionella bacteria within water systems.
