The Spring is traditionally the time of year when The Humane Society of North Myrtle
Beach develops and produces a number of off-site adoption and fundraising events in
the community. Mother Nature has certainly created a number of challenges for us this
spring! Unfortunately, it was a soggy St. Patrick's Day festival and HSNMB had to
cancel our Annual Doggie Bone Hunt this year for the first time in 14 years! The 2nd
Annual Paddle for the Pets was postponed to May 30th and we are hoping for sunny
warm festivals and events going forward!
Whiskers, Wags & Wine is scheduled for June 3rd at the Brentwood Restaurant and
Wine Bistro in Little River from 6:00-9:00pm. This is a wonderful celebration that helps
fund critical programs and services for homeless and abused animals in our
community.
The evening includes a wine tasting, heavy hours d'oeurves, live music a silent auction
and a live auction. All proceeds from the event directly support the mission of The
Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach.
Tickets are available at The Brentwood as well as the Humane Society of North Myrtle
Beach. Ticket prices are $55 in advance and $60 at the door. For more information,

HSNMB is excited to be invited to Beach Dogs, located on Sea Mountain Highway in
North Myrtle Beach. We will bring some of our adoptable dogs and be available to talk
about the many programs available through HSNMB on June 11th from 1:00-3:00. The
Pullums have graciously volunteered to donate a portion of their sales to HSNMB that
day. Join us to find your "furr-ever friend" and support this new local business!
We will be at Lady Luck Seafood Grille and Bar, located at 4480 Mineola Avenue in
Little River on Saturday, June 20th from 11am-3pm. We are excited to have the
opportunity to feature our wonderful adoptable pets at this event and look forward to
the community coming out to join us!
