tapping. I end the session with hypnosis for direct suggestions and ego
strengthening.
If the client has overwhelming issues or has gone through some kind of
trauma, its best to see a certified EFT Trauma Specialist.
I teach EFT to my weight management clients as it’s an effective and
useful tool to have handy when they have cravings for unhealthy food. It
calms them down and curbs stress eating. Tapping also dissipates the
cravings for unhealthy food or late night snacking. For smokers, EFT
gives them something to do with their hands, as well as relax their mind
and body. EFT can be used successfully for irrational fears such as fear
of flying, fear of heights, fear of public speaking etc.
I had a young client who could not go on adventure hiking trips with his
friends as he had a fear of heights. I used EFT tapping along with
systematic desensitization to gradually desensitize him to the fear of
heights. He also learned EFT, and used it to remain calm whenever he
experienced uncomfortable feelings in his daily life. After a few weeks, I
received an email from him, thanking me for the sessions and he also
