HYPNOSIS FOR WEIGHT LOSS – PART 5
In Part 1 of this series we saw that eating is regulated by both
physiological mechanisms and behavioural processes. By learning how
these interact within our client, we can better understand the forces
that influence how they behave and thus assist in modifying their
behaviour. Everyone is susceptible to some degree to the various cues
to eat. In articles two through four, we noted that these triggers (or
cues) are social, emotional, situational, thinking and physiological in
nature. In this, the final instalment, I would like to present to the
reader Hypnotherapeutic Direct Suggestions for each of the triggers
which they might employ with their weight loss clients.
Social Trigger
You’re realising now that food is for health and nutrition only and
although food and eating may have had certain social connotations for
you in the past, these links are now being dissolved … permanently
dissolved. Now when people eat around you it doesn’t bother you at
