commonly known as Javitri.

QUALITIES : TASTE : Bitter & pungent. POTENCY : Hot.
Has light to digest and penetrating properties.

MEDICINAL USES :
1. It improves taste , relieves anorexia, aids in digestion.
2. Its very useful in bad breath problem.
3. It is very effective in diarrhoea problem and
in IBS.
4. It is moderately used in pain relieving
formulations. It has a mild sedative effect.
5. Useful in COPD & other respiratory disorders.

7. Commonly used among singers to improve their voice.

1. In headache , Jaiphal paste is applied over forehead.
2. It can be added in in face pack for pimples.
3. In diarrhoea in children , apply paste of Jaiphal around belly.
