Healing and Hypnotherapy Volume 3, Issue - 1, ( 1 July 2018) | Page 30
3. How do you see Hypnotherapy as a complete healing tool?
I see hypnotherapy as a valuable resource, used both by itself
and in conjunction with other modalities to allow an individual to
make desired changes in their life both physically,
psychologically, and in the areas of behavior modification and
habit control. I have always believed (and taught) that change is
effected through the application of both conscious and
subconscious processing which hypnosis allows us to
accomplish most efficaciously. To do one while neglecting the
other is only doing half the job.
4. How your perspective has changed towards life after you
became a therapist?
Prior to entering the field I acknowledged the ability of the
subconscious mind to help a person to accomplish anything they
set their mind to. However, this was a philosophical
acknowledgement; in other words I merely paid it “lip service”.
After entering the field and seeing first-hand the incredible
transformations my clients were able to make in their lives
through hypnotherapy I was indeed convinced.
5. What is your most life changing experience during therapy
so far?
My most life changing experience during therapy happened
when I began to practice Past Life Regression & Therapy. Prior
to that I had a morbid fear of death. Past Life Regression, and
the realization that we as humans are not bodies with souls but
rather souls with bodies and the soul never dies has helped me
to overcome this fear.
