4. Focusing: The yellow square icon assists the user in focusing on a particular element on the screen. This can be accessed by tapping on the screen when needed. Then the device will focus. 5. Zooming: While in still image mode, users can zoom in and out on the image by using the “pinch and zoom” method. To zoom in, simply put 2 fingers together on the screen, dragging them outward. To zoom out, simply place 2 fingers apart on the screen, pulling them together. This mode does NOT work while in video mode. Photos The pictures you take with your iPad and any saved from other locations will be stored in the Photos app. Here you can organize your photos and videos. Basic image editing can also be done within this app. 1. Camera Roll: This is a folder within Photos which contains all images. All stills and videos are stored here but can also be organized in folders. 2. Albums: Folders can be created to sort images within the Photos app. To get to folders, simply tap the “Albums” button. To add a new album, simply tap the “+” button and name your album. Follow the on screen directions for adding images. 3. Multiple Image Select: When in the thumbnail view of your photos, multiple images can be selected to perform several options. First tap Select. Then tap on the photos to select them.
