The HCba Trial & Litigation Section presented its annual awards on may 29 at a luncheon at the
Chester H. ferguson Law Center. The recipients recognized with this year’s awards were:
• Herbert G. Goldburg award - Steven yerrid of the yerrid Law firm
• James kynes “in the Trenches” award - Lily mcCarty Gonzalez & maria pavlidis of mGpw Law, LLC
• michael fogarty “in the Trenches” award - Timon Sullivan of ogden & Sullivan, p.a.
• Court family award - Deputies Dwight edwards, Jeffrey James, Cindy rodriguez, and mike Duffy
of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court
• Student essay Contest Scholarship recipient - Janita melendez of wmu Cooley Law School
