To be serious for a moment, even though the preceding paragraph was a lie, it’ s a lie that I’ m comfortable telling because the Bench Bar Conference is always great. I only started attending the Conference myself a couple years ago, and I immediately felt like I had been missing out by skipping it so many times in the past. The speakers are engaging, the topics are useful, and the opportunities to interact meaningfully with judges are invaluable. Honestly, it is one of very few all-day CLE events that people actually look forward to attending. If you have never gone, please, go next year. You’ ll be happy you did.
