The HCBA YLD Board of Directors has already started implementing this idea:
On July 16, 2026, we created and hosted a new YLD“ Get Involved” event where the board met with new members to explain our committees and pro bono connections and encourage them to join. On August 6, 2026, we continued to form connections with our first Chamber Chat of the year with the Honorable Frances Perrone, and on August 13, 2026, we hosted a training for all chairs and committee members so that we could learn more about how best to serve our members. The HCBA YLD will continue to spotlight the young lawyers throughout the year and encourage others to get involved.
When we lift others up and encourage them to join us, we strengthen each other and we grow ourselves. I am thankful to my family, mentors, friends, and this year’ s board of directors who have already encouraged me to grow. I am honored and privileged to be the HCBA YLD president this year and cannot wait to see what all we will do together! n

Held each fall, the YLD Golf Tournament is a long-standing tradition with the Young Lawyers Division. The event is attended by lawyers, judges, business professionals, and anyone interested in supporting the Hillsborough County Bar Association in its efforts to better serve the community. The tournament itself is a scramble format with sponsorship opportunities, followed by a casual reception with giveaways and prizes.
