When I stepped into this role, I chose“ Service is the soul of our profession” as the theme for the year. I believe our profession is at its best when we look for ways to serve— our clients, our community, and each other. It’ s a reminder that practicing law is not just about deadlines and billable hours, but about people, relationships, and giving back.
This year, my goal is to bring this theme to life through every aspect of our Young Lawyers Division— our programs, our events, and the connections we help our members build.
Already, our new Chamber Chat series has done just that. In July, we kicked off the first of this three-part series with Chief Judge Christopher Sabella, who opened his chambers to our members for an intimate discussion on professionalism, practice tips, and navigating the courtroom with integrity. Interest in this program exceeded our expectations— every seat filled
