Eleven years ago, I only knew one definition of the word rich. However, reflecting on my career, I now have a full and complete meaning of the word.

Three years of law school can be challenging in many ways, especially from a financial perspective. Making a comfortable amount of money while practicing the law of your choice is always everyone’ s goal. However, success is not always measured by the number in your bank account.

I am in my eleventh year of prosecuting, currently with Statewide Prosecution. There is not a price tag to the feeling of bringing closure to a traumatic event in a person’ s life. It’ s a feeling that is hard to describe. You want more; you want to do it again and help the next person. I have had the opportunity of prosecuting many different types of cases throughout my career, including those of a violent nature where someone was the victim of a murder or rape. Unfortunately, the past events of a victim’ s life( or the family of the victim) cannot be changed, but as a prosecutor, helping the individual realize that a positive life in the future exists, is a wonderful feeling.
