We , the new BLI Co-Chairs Zane Katz , Kimberly Lopater , Alberto “ Tito ” Gonzalez , and Haneen Kantar , are extremely excited to announce that the Hillsborough County Bar Association Bar Leader - ship Institute ( BLI ) is underway for the 2024-2025 year ! The BLI program begun with a Welcome Reception on September 26 , 2024 and runs through May 2025 .
We are excited and honored to serve the HCBA and this year ’ s BLI Class and are eager to offer incredible opportunities that will inspire the next generation of
HCBA leadership . We would like to introduce ourselves .
Zane Katz is a Commercial Litigation Associate with Trenam , Kemker , Scharf , Barkin , Frye , O ’ Neill & Mullis , P . A . Outside of work , Zane is a member of the HCBA Young Lawyer Division Pro Bono Committee and is an active member of the Florida Bar Business Law Section , serving on its Chapter 48 Taskforce .
Kimberly Lopater is a Litigation Associate with Porter Wright Morris & Arthur . In addition to serving as BLI Co-Chair , Kim is the HAWL Leadership Academy Co-Chair and Vice President of the Journey to Esquire Scholarship and Leadership Program .
Alberto “ Tito ” Gonzalez is a Labor and Employment Associate with Imler Law and has previously served as the Co-Chair of the Social Events Committee for the HCBA Young Lawyers Division .
Last , but certainly not least , Haneen Kantar is an Associate at Ferrentino + Brotz where she practices civil litigation with a
continuedonpage23 last year ’ s Bar leadership Institute class at the BlI Closing Reception in May 2024 .
