Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section
Chairs: Kasey Feltner - Shutts & Bowen, LLP & Elaine McGinnis - Law Office of Elaine McGinnis, P.A.
Plan to attend our Section
meetings on october 22,
2020; January 14, 2021;
March 11, 2021; and
May 13, 2021.
Despite our current
circumstances, we
hope you have all had
an enjoyable summer
and stayed healthy and safe. We are
looking forward to this year and
we are honored to serve as your
co-chairs. In an effort to maximize
everyone’s time and provide the
best programming possible, we
are going to continue with the
luncheon schedule from last year
and will have four luncheons, all
of which will be for CLE credit.
The luncheon dates are tentatively
scheduled for: October 22, 2020;
January 14, 2021; March 11, 2021;
and May 13, 2021.
As of now, it is likely that at least
our October CLE will be conducted
via Zoom. If anyone is interested in
presenting a CLE, or has feedback
regarding the online format, please
reach out to us.
In addition, like last year, we are
always looking for opportunities
to help the Tampa Bay community
through pro bono service, so if
you know of any opportunities
or any projects you would like
our Section to consider adopting,
please let us know.
Finally, one of the best ways to
keep each other apprised of relevant
legal issues that may affect each of
our practices is through this Lawyer
magazine. The Lawyer offers
members an opportunity to discuss
various legal issues or interesting
decisions that may affect how we
practice, as well as the opportunity
to be published. However, the
Lawyer’s success is dependent on the
members of the HCBA submitting
articles, so we invite you to consider
contributing an article. Please
contact us if you are interested.
We look forward to a great year
and seeing you at our Section’s
various events this year! n
