These programs provide educational opportunities to young lawyers to expand their knowledge and hone their practical and legal skills, and also to understand the importance of professionalism and ethical conduct. Particularly in our current environment, the YLD will continue to offer timely, relevant programs for our members. Finally, if you simply want to connect and network with other attorneys, the YLD offers Health and Wellness events, quarterly Happy Hours, Membership Luncheons, the Judicial Food Festival, Coffee at the Courthouse, the annual Golf Tournament, and the annual Cornhole Tournament. Last year’s Golf Tournament sold out, and we are expecting the same again this year! Be on the lookout for announcements regarding registration and sponsorship opportunities for these great events. This list is meant to provide a flavor of the many ways young lawyers can get involved. The YLD always welcomes new ideas and ways to give back, so if you have new ideas, please share them!
