HABC: How strongly do you feel that business
people and companies be involved in civic and
social organizations?
Donna Delehanty: Hazleton has a large majority of businesses involved in community organizations. I am involved
with the A.C.S., and through the American Cancer Society,
I have dealt with many businesses. I think the majority of
businesses in our town are involved, which says a lot for our
small community. Civically, the Greater Hazleton Area is
unbelievable! It’s very important. My salon is involved with
the local ‘Feel Better’ program with the American Cancer
Society. It does require a lot of extra hours. But what you
give to each cancer survivor is repaid a hundredfold. It
