Many of the objects have never been on public display before, and are on loan from private collections and family members of WWI soldiers. Do you know what it means to live on a flood plain? This exhibition Tom Sowden looks at the significant history of flooding in the Hawkesbury-Nepean, and how it has shaped our communities. Also on display: Indigenous Inhabitants, Early Settlers, Pioneering Families, Child’s Play and the Bachelors’ Ball of 1847 are stories presented in several small display cases in the permanent exhibition space.
