Bask in the Golden Glow of the Windsor Gas Lamp Festival
The festivities begin on Friday 5 June, with Canapes Under The Stars. This is a ticketed event where you will have the opportunity to mix with some of Windsor’ s finest! The event is being hosted by Simon’ s Café in Windsor Mall, just up from the water wheel. Tables will be set up in the alfresco dining area under the gas lamps and stars, where your Windsor Experience will begin.
Tasting morsels from some of Windsor’ s finest eateries as they proudly showcase their finest cuisines made from local produce. The event is in an alcohol-free zone, however nonalcoholic mocktails, non-alcoholic bubbly and beer will be a part of the ticketed price. There are still tickets available for just $ 50 a head.

On Saturday 6 June, step back in time and enjoy a horse and carriage ride drawn by two Clydesdale horses, and experience Thompson Square where history was once born. The carriage will await you, with rides through the Square starting at 2.30pm

and going through to 8.30pm.
There will be boutique markets set up within the Windsor Mall from 3pm. The stalls will be spilling colour and fragrance into the cool Autumn evening. Live music in the Rotunda from 2.30pm till 9pm.
A parade will set forth from Thompson Square at 6pm with
bag pipers skirling, the proud Gasketeers, Town Crier, and the community dressed up in their finery, all biding to win the Best Dressed within the parade. If you like to dress in your historical finest, join in with all the fun and frivolities. Sponsored by The Windsor Experience Group.
