Richmond District Girl Guides celebrate outstanding achievements

Richmond District Girl Guides wrapped up Term 3 on a high note with a special Awards Ceremony recognising the achievements, growth, and dedication of its young members.
The evening was filled with pride and celebration as family, friends, and fellow Guides gathered to applaud the girls’ efforts.
The highlight of the night was the presentation of the Junior Baden Powell Award to Annara D, marking a significant milestone in her Guiding journey.
The Junior Baden Powell Award( JBP) is the highest honour a Girl Guide aged 7 – 11 can achieve and is named after Guiding and Scouting founder, Robert Baden-Powell.
To earn this award, a Guide must complete 12 challenges that deepen her understanding of the Promise and Law, World Guiding, The Outdoors, Patrol System, Service, and Guiding Traditions.
The celebration also recognised Willow D, who achieved her Bronze Endeavour Award, and Mackenzie G, who received her Silver Endeavour Award
