EXHIBITION : STARRY NIGHT - THE WORLD OF JOHN TEBBUTT ON DISPLAY NOW Renowned 19th century astronomer and Hawkesbury resident , John Tebbutt , is the focus of this two-part exhibition .

Visit the museum to see Tebbutt ’ s original objects on display , including the telescope he used to discover the Great Comet of 1861 .

Hear how Oonagh developed and realised these remarkable sonic experiences through drawing on local knowledge , locations , individual inspirations , and community stories . You are invited to use the audio walk and guide yourself leisurely from the museum , along the riverside , before returning to the museum for a Q & A and light refreshments .
