Boxfitt Fight Night sure to be a BIG HIT ! WINDSOR LEAGUES CLUB . MARCH 22 by Greg Martin
Codebreakers , headed by the legendary Alan Turing , broke the German codes which certainly aided the Allies winning World War II .
Well , there ’ ll be two big , hefty code breakers in action at promotor , Mark Hardsman ’ s upcoming BoxFitt Gym Amateur Fight Night at Windsor Leagues Club on March 22 .
A battle of the rugby codes will be one of the highlights on the BoxFitt Amateur fight night . Fighters will toe the line in 28 bouts with the main support being a Battle of the Codes stoush between two tough-asteak- footballers representing local rugby union and rugby League clubs .
Coming out of the red corner will be Hawkesbury Rugby Union Club ’ s Aiden “ Mean ” Dean Hollis , while rushing out from the blue corner to trade punches , will be Windsor Wolves hardman , Aiden “ Rhino ” Ryan . The two big men will be throwing the leather over three , 90-second rounds – rest assured the pace will be hectic from the touching of gloves .
The main event will also be a great fight with BoxFitt member , Hayley “ The Sleepmaker ” Graham challenging “ Goey ” Zoe Ifield for the Australian Welterweight Championship .
The two classy boxers will be in action over four , two-minute rounds – there ’ s no love lost between these two women so the action should be on from the getgo .

Another women ’ s bout sure to create plenty of interest featuring a local lass is a welterweight clash between 36-year-old mother of four , Lisa “ Head ” Turner , who clashes with Becc Ryan , a topflight kickboxer who has switched to the sweet science .
Mark Hardman has nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for Lisa , who for the past four years , aided by BoxFitt classes , dropped her weight from 110kgs to a svelte 65kgs .
All the other bouts on the actionpacked program will be over three , twominute rounds . Gates open at 5.30pm and the first pugs touch gloves at 6pm . Tickets available by calling Lauren on 0414 595 446 .
