change as your relationship with that person changes .
When you start to feel uncomfortable with a person or situation or resent their expectations of you , it ’ s probably time to assess your boundaries to understand why you feel that way and address the cause of the feeling .
Changing your boundaries can take some time , you first need to figure out what has to change , how you will do that , then you have to enforce these changes . As you are transforming your own and other people ’ s expectations of your behaviour , it might be difficult at first , especially if pushing back is to the other person ’ s detriment , they may pressure you to go back to the old way of doing things .
In this case , ‘ No ’ is a perfectly acceptable and full sentence !
Take control of your own happiness and think about what boundaries you need to enforce to make 2024 a year to remember !
