For advice and information to help you manage debt and housing issues , come along to the free workshops hosted by Hawkesbury Library Service during August . It is a timely opportunity to participate positively with other members of the Hawkesbury community in a friendly library setting . The workshops are especially useful to people who face additional barriers to accessing information such as language and cultural barriers . The workshops will run as follows . Tenants ’ rights – Friday , 4 August
10am to 11am
What are your rights as a tenant ? Can you do anything about rent increases or eviction notices ? Western Sydney Tenants
Service will answer these questions . Debts and your rights – Wednesday ,
16 August 2pm to 3pm
Do you need help navigating the legal system or concerned about debt ? Western Sydney Community Legal Centre will answer these questions and provide legal advice .
Edible gardens – Saturday , 19 August 10am to 11am
Take your mind off your worries and relax while learning how to create your edible garden with Mick Connolly from Mick ’ s Garden Shed .
