The inn is run and operated by former Australian Wallaby Bill Young and you can be assured of some great country hospitality when you visit . The Bistro is open Monday to Thursday from 11.30am to 3pm and 5.30pm to 8.30pm and ALL DAY Friday to Sunday from 11.30am . There is an extensive menu , featuring its own local family-owned reared beef . With all meals , there is a wide selection of premium wines , beer and innovative cocktails to choose from .

According to the experts PREPAREDNESS is the answer ; P-CEP is the way forward .
Peppercorn Services are hosting a Disaster Awareness Day at the Crown Plaza on Thursday , 13 October between 10 - 12.30pm .
This event is free to the community , and we encourage older people or people with a disability to attend . This will be a great opportunity to hear from the experts on what we have learnt from past events , and have a voice in planning their own personal preparedness plan tailored to their individual needs .
Fires and flood will not be the only things on the agenda . Other forms of disaster such as coping during a pandemic and ways to keep connected to your community are also important . If you can ’ t make it to the
Cobham Hall Museum is open every day of the week from 10am and is free . This convict-made sandstone building was erected in 1826 and was the original grand old residence of Solomon Wiseman .
The sandstone walls are still intact , put together with mortar made from cooked oyster shells . The hand-hewn rafters are exposed , with some of the original shingles and plaster lining showing .
It is one of the few buildings left standing in Australia from this age . Kate Grenfell ’ s novel , The Secret River is based on this home .
