Animal Welfare League ’ s impressive B-double rig rolls into Windsor this month , delivering free vet checks and microchipping for Hawkesbury cats and dogs , whose parents are pensioners , low-income earners or financially struggling after the floods .
This vet clinic on wheels is also offering lower-priced vaccinations ($ 35 for cats and dogs ) and $ 50 desexing vouchers for cats .
Specialist-built and fully outfitted , the AWL trailer facilities are able to conduct minor animal surgeries , perform blood works , have vet scales , an isolation room , over 35 recovery cages and stores extensive vet supplies .
AWL vet teams and volunteers provide this service to communities doing it tough
to help reduce unwanted litters and stop the source of pets that may end up at council impound facilities . Details Venue : Tennis court carpark , McQuade
