Faculty-Student Softball Game!
The scene was set for an amazing softball game which
pitted the Administrators against the state-bound
Varsity Softball team. The Admin team actually found
a way to score in the top of the first. Mr. Drake led
off with an infield single as he beat out the throw to
first!! The Varsity girls then allowed the Administrators to bat around some and only scored a few runs
on them. From that point on there were a lot of
missed pitches on the part of the Administrators, but
a good time was had by all. A shout out to all the
softball girls for cutting the Adminis trators a little
break and not making them look (and feel!) too bad.

NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY
The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) members painted a full-size door in a carousel
theme for a local charity event. "Doors To
Homes and Hope" is an outdoor art exhibit
designed to increase awareness of the
Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity mission, which
is to help families in need of decent, affordable
housing. Doors will be on display throughout
the county in October and sold to the highest
bidder. Shown in photo are Mr. Lasseter (NAHS
Sponsor), Aberleigh Rice (NAHS President),
Mekinsey Bullock, Michael Barry, and
Karen Vu.
