News and Views Virtual Quilting Bees – Stuck inside by your love of a warm indoors during the winter? Want to quilt with others? Well, try the virtual quilting bee. This is an online community – you find 11 other people and the 12 of you create one block a month and send fabric bundles to each of the others. They make your block and send the blocks back to you. The other alternative is that you give them the pattern and each of the others makes one with their own stash. If you do it online, then you show photos of what you make.
