HARTS of STUR 11 gift guide 2019 HARTS issue 11 all.new | Page 2
W
elcome to the 11th edition
of Kitchen Magazine. Firstly,
it’s hello and welcome from
me. I’m thrilled to be penning
my first introduction to our
magazine, having taken over
custodianship of the company in May. My father
Philip recently retired after 41 years as MD of our
family business and is now getting his hands dirty
with all the jobs at home that he has spent years
ignoring. There is no seismic change however,
just a seamless transition to the new management
team, all long-standing Harts employees including
my brother Johnathan. We will continue to provide
award-winning customer service alongside an ever
growing range of kitchen cookware and electricals.
I’m also excited to announce that plans are well
underway for the re-development of our store
which starts in earnest next month. (See page 12).
Our centenary year has triumphantly progressed
towards the peak phase of our celebrations, and
what better way to top the year off than with a
homage to the Sunday roast. Quite aside from the
fantastic flavours and mouth watering options, it
is often the one meal of the week to bring all the
family together, so important in our modern, fast
paced lives. It is a meal that, in its essence is about
family, and so making roast dinners the highlight
of our Centenary year, where we are honouring
the past, present and future of our family company,
just seems right.
From one of the biggest and most desirable of
brands, KitchenAid, comes a stunning new colour,
Velvet Blue. Exclusive to Harts of Stur, this sweet
and airy collection is perfect for updating your
kitchen with a splash of blue, which is bang on
trend. This seasonal edition also includes a bonus
festive gift guide, full of inspirational ideas for
family and friends (or even treating yourself) this
Christmas.
We hope you enjoy this packed issue and take
this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas
and a fabulous New Year.
