How does it feel knowing that the project has developed to this stage and continues to do so?
Tony G. Marshall:
I feel it has been a remarkable journey and moreso because the story and characters are still here, albeit in a different form in some respects, and everything continues to develop. I feel really good about the concept more than ever, and especially the evolution of the main character.

When did this idea first materialise?
Tony G. Marshall:
Five years ago it all began with the original concept of a band of musicians 'rockin' the rafters' somewhere in the Balearic Islands and none of the crime or thriller aspects had been introduced to the plot at that point. The idea was relatively uneventful but a lot of musical inspiration was flowing through the rough draft of ideas on the page. Then as time went on and I began to read more books in my favourite genre I decided I liked the suspenseful mystery aspects of a good crime story.

Tony G. Marshall:

eBooks Open interview the creator & writer of 'Harmony's Voice' and discuss such riveting moments as that opening scene in the Prologue + how it feels 5 years on...
Tony G. Marshall:
None that I can think of directly. However, I have retained the idea of a live band, playing almost on a nightly-basis, but on a more grandeur scale within a multi-million pound (dollar) complex tinged with more 'rock festival' imagery to the whole proceedings

What are the reasons behind further locations being added to the story?
Tony G. Marshall:
I'd travelled to most of these places and I also wanted to expand upon my knowledge of them, hence the reason they're in the story. Furthermore, I wanted to spread the crime elements over a wider landscape.

Is there a location that posed a problem for you?
Tony G. Marshall:
New York City...it's such a "Big Apple" - pardon the pun! I can't actually remember why I chose New York to be the base for my main character...but I think she has also played a hand in this too, in some kind of attack of the subconscious. I also think that NYC has played a major part in the books and stories I've read, so that's were the influence lies.

'Goldie Johnson' is your main character and she appears to have taken on some rather iconical attributes. What influenced her development?
Tony G. Marshall:
SHE did! I mean the tough aspects of her nature were already drafted in place, then I followed the route of what I considered feasible enough to add to her skillset; therefore a mechanic who keeps fit and sings is possible. All these elements were
