Harmony's Voice #1 - Jan, 2014 | 页面 5

The following is the "Author's note" which precedes the Prologue in 'Harmony's Voice' the novella. It is presented as an extra piece of fictional entertainment in conjunction with the story's timeline. From the novella:

The important task of gaining access to Goldie Johnson’s yearly journals and almost-daily notes in order to adapt her story for this book, was in the capable hands of our Co-Researcher -

“We have competently depicted the timeline, locations, and events involving specific era’s in Goldie’s life as featured in ‘Harmony’s Voice’ the story. We have more than competently achieved the spirit, drive and energy that illustrates the kind of person she is – professional, creative, confident and trained to act without hesitation; she has been described as “a very attractive, formidable ‘fireball’ of talent”! It was necessary for the Author to craft a Prologue to the story which represents the routine setting of her life back in early 1995. In doing so, it married the elements of her past with her development for the future, and further to the Prologue we undertake a 10-year timeline from 1998 onwards. It has taken many hours over many months of reading and analyzing Goldie’s journals which evoke the reflective narrative of her emotions in relation to her talent, triumphs, tragedies, and torment. It took several interviews of further research into this period of her life in order to decipher some of those emotions to accurately convey the meaning, and the impact, on the printed (or digital) page. The uniqueness of her story lies in the music - and not particularly the music of the time - which was a constant throughout her development and reflected within her own creativity. We sincerely hope that you enjoy reading our achievement in portraying this extraordinary life."
