The concept of ‘Harmony’s Voice’ has presented the opportunity of a new and very worthwhile project for its writer Tony G. Marshall. This new idea originates from a best-selling series of children's books entitled "Harmony’s Voice" within the plot of the crime-thriller itself. In the story the children’s books were created by Donnie McKean and Lynda Fairchild – husband and wife musicians who dedicated the books to their baby daughter, and Goldie Johnson discovers that the award-winning children’s books evolved into a project even more colossal: Harmony’s Voice the band. Without giving too much of the plot away, it’s this musical institution that forms an important part of Goldie's life thereafter.
eBooks Open in collaboration with Tony G. Marshall are launching the children’s book series of ‘Harmony’s Voice’ in the UK this year which is to involve a number of community groups who are looking to get creative with an original idea. The outcome is to produce a series of ebooks under the same brand title and the proceeds of which will be donated to local charities designated by the individual communities. The books project will incorporate various themes and ideas chosen by the groups and will involve the selection of its very own teams for research, writing and artwork.
“We want to keep the creative ideas for the books as free-flowing and natural as possible,” says writer Tony G. Marshall, “And therefore we don’t want to place any restrictions on plots or characters that some people may already have in mind for the children’s stories. It’s beneficial each book project within the series reflects the respective talents of each member of the communities involved. Furthermore, I like the concept of this project being able to offer other people the chance to get creative and in turn become the ambassador for a charitable cause.”
Tony is the writer of the crime novella-in-progress called ‘Harmony’s Voice’ which depicts the life and times of New York singer and martial arts expert, Goldie Johnson.
