Finding Life’s
Sweet Spot
A midst the Chaos
M
An interview with Briana Borten
ost people whose lives have swung
off course struggle to get them back
under control -- they can’t see the
way out of an unhealthy job, rela-
tionship or poor self-image. But Briana and Pe-
ter Borten assert that it is within each person›s
power to find tranquility and satisfaction from
life. Their book, The Well Life: How to Use Struc-
ture, Sweetness, and Space to Create Balance,
Happiness, and Peace, shows that seeking en-
gagement and meaning correlates with life satis-
faction. Finding a way to engage in what brings
you joy and meaning comes from learning to em-
brace three fundamental principles -- sweetness,
structure, and space. They show how to go from
an overwhelmed, passive lifestyle to an empow-
ered, fully engaged life, even in the face of chaos.
Briana Borten is a wellness entrepreneur and
peace engineer who inspires people to live ex-
traordinary, healthy lives and create what they
want. She and her husband Dr. Peter Borten

community and Dragontree, a holistic wellness
brand that includes three spas, herbal and
wellness products, a magazine and the Rituals
of Living online community. Briana has certi-
fications in Massage Therapy and is a Clinical
Ayurvedic Specialist. Peter has a doctorate in
